I have very thin hair what r some good products I could use????

i know it kind of sounds silly, but if you completely shave your head, there is a high chance it will be much thicker. in fact in the old days thats what they did to reduce the heat in egypt

i use instantly thick shampoo by marc anthony and herbal essance volume-izing mousse. i also dry my hair upside-down to give it more volume.

buy a hair product that will give your hair a lift to make it look fuller

some good products are hairspray and maybe gel.

Any products that have a volumizing cream will work well. Don't use a lot of straightening stuff or anti frizz because that flattens your hair down to a minimum. Also aviod damaging your hair by heat or product and avoid cheaper hair product brands...they tend not to work as well.

Well im not sure about products, but u like u should take showers every other day to keep ur hair healthy and if u go swimming alot take a shower like just wet ur hair with water and then tie it in a tight bun then u can go swimming cause chlore isn't good for the hair... go to ur local hair salon and ask the hair stylists and they should tell u about all the products and what is healthy for the hair and isn't!!

I also have thin hair. I have a volumizing product by SunSilk. http://img.epinions.com/images/opti/da/4... I pump it in my hand, rub my hands together, flip my head over and start with the product on the back of my head. I don't want the front or top to look greasy or weighed down. I would only use one volumizing product. (Whatever you decide) because if you keep putting on product after product your hair will be weighed down.

Even if your hair is super long I'd suggest getting layers because it creates the look of more hair and movement.

Sometimes when I blowdry my hair I don't part it, I comb it back and blowdry. Then when I do part it it seems fuller on top.

Me too. I use anything. Expensive product don't seem to make any difference. Just be sure to change products every few months. I think it has something to do with build up on hair. Condition sometimes if you need it. If you are like me you have oily skin so i would recommend maybe just the ends most of the time with a light conditioner. The heavy ones weigh down our hair.

I've let my hair grow out and now wear a clip on pony tail.

If you stick to a natural color like light brown or brown it is easy to match and looks real. Then people think you have beautiful thick hair. Good luck

I got my clip on pony at Rite Aid PX for about $13.

I think maybe target carries them too. At least they use to.

Don't shave your head. Ive only heard of it working on babies and that is probably because their hair would of gotten thicker anyway.

Someone else suggested hair spray for lift. Yes it helps a lot get instant freeze kinds. I had a hair dresser friend that told me the expensive brands are made with the same things so don't wast your money on the high end stuff.

Clothes are more fun.

By the way I'm 53, Ive tried it all.

Don't comb or brush your hair when it's wet. That's when it breaks the easiest.

One more idea. Rinse your hair with as cold water it somehow makes the hair strands smoother and closes the pours in your scalp. And if thats not the reason I don't know why. I just know it helps.

wash your hair with volumeising shampoo don't use conditioner because it weighs down your hair if you do only use it every other time and rinse completely. use thickening cream when wet and blow dry upside down and tease for volume then mist with volumeising hair spray
