A hair bang is a detatchable hair piece which can give the appearance of thicker hair. Many good shops on the internet or your local salon may have details. Perms really dont thicken the hair. They should be avoided on thin hair really, as you dont want to add any damage. Also the feathery type style would look bit odd with a perm. Try adding some colours around the crown area to give the affect of thicker hair.

you should like totally straighten your hair and cut a 2 1/2 inch bang to the left side of your head. thats what i have and it is really cute!!!
