If you don't want to spend any money use products from your own fridge. Many people like mayonnaise. You just put some on the ends (or all over) and wrap a peice of like A walmart sack around them and secure.
You can also use egg white. Just dip the ends in egg white good and then put the plastic around it. Just make sure you condition really good soon after because the protein will make your hair feel like straw.
