Usually the stylist razors the hair to thin it out.

when you get a hair cut get a layer which makes your ahir lighter and thinner not very shorter but just thinner. and comb is everyday.

you will need thinning shears and somebody else to do it . you have to be able to see what your doing .and your hair must be wet ...go to a salon or your local beauty school it will be cheap there.

when you go to the hair cutters,they have a special kind of scissors,that has a razor on it and if you like layer your hair it will make your hair feel thinner when you put your hands around it and it wont go as puffy when you blow dry it.

ummm... this is a job for a pro haircutter :D hahaha.

they have this razor thing that they use and they just scratch it against ur hair... my haircutter uses scissors for me and layers with the razor, but either way works.

You can layer your hair which will make it look less chunky. But if you want it thinned just ask your hairdresser next time you got for a hair cut and they will probably use a thing that looks like sissors with your hair. Sometimes they will just do the ends but if your want your hair overall thinner just ask them to do it at the roots.
