Loss of hair is genetic and it goes through the genes from the parents and all that. He cant do much to stop it completely but to help it try having him use things like Rogain for men or get hair hair growth products in the store.. they have things like olive oil for hair and things with tons of minerals in them.. protein also helps and so does peanut butter. Like a spoonfool a day. I dont know if itll cure it but it sure will help it.

Male Pattern Baldness is genetic and there's nothing you can do to stop it (short of hair transplant surgery which is very expensive and hit-or-miss results) ... you can always go the shaved head route

The first thing I would suggest is seeing your doctor. There are certain hormonal imbalances that can make you loose your hair. A more popular one is hyper- or hypo-thyroidism.

Go to a salon and pickup a better quality shampoo and conditioner. The less your scalp is clogged, the better your hair will grow.

Regain is over the counter, it is to be applied to the head like hair oil. Rogain was by prescription only till now in USA.

See a dermatologist and have the test done, may be some fungus that needs fugiside.

Other product like Rogain are still prescription drugs only.

one of my male friend has got this kind of problem too..he's only 22...what he did was that he went to see a doctor..it seems that his testosterone hormones are too high..so to make the hair grow, the hormone needs to be lowered.. the doctor then prescribe him pills (some kind of female endrogen hormone pills-cant remember the name)..and then walla!!!!his hair does grows back!!!!

but this is only if your hair is thinning in the middle.....
