Why would you need it layered if it's thin already. The whole point in layers is to make the hair thinner.

no it will only make your hair thinner. bangs are not good either they with play up the thinness

Layering thin hair does make it appear a little thicker and it gives your hair more body.

get it layered it mite change ur over all apperance n bangs will make ur hair seem thicker... depending on ur face structure.

Layering is a bad idea if you have thin hair- it will make it seem REALLY thin. Bangs would be really cute though!

ps.. my best friend had extremely thin hair, layerd and teased it, now it`s voluminous and gorgeous, and she got some side bangs and it looked fab!

Sometiems having hair layered can go two ways. SOmetimes thins hair and sometimes thickens it up do a trial and error hair grows back!

I have read that getting a great blunt cut gives the appearance of having thicker hair. Not layering.

Thin hair in texture and quantity will look stringy if layered incorrectly. My suggestion is a short blunt cut base line with lots of texture, even through the bangs will distract the eye from the quantity of hair one has. This type of cut gives the hair depth and direction/flow. A good highlight or lowlight would add even more depth as well. The long all-one-length 'do is not for thin hair so don't be tempted to keep on growing it out! Good Luck!

honestly i think u shud consult a proper hairstylist, cuz it depends on ur hair types and how much ur willing to style it etc. and when i say proper hair stylist, i dont mean some lady who just charges 10 bucks for a cut. try and find a good quality salon that uses good products. ask around and see if ur friends know a good hair dresser.

besides that, the hair stylist may recommend u not to do the bangs if it doesnt fit the shape of ur face.
