My sister has thin hair on top of her head--much of it lost due to stress. There are no underlying conditions we are aware of. What products do you recommend for regrowth?

Nioxin is a good professional shampoo and conditioner for thinning hair. They have one for natural hair and one for chemically treated (if she gets her hair colored). They also have treatments that you can use a couple times a week.

My friend has this same problem. If your sister has longer hair that is fuller on bottom, it will put more emphasis on the thinning parts. A shorter cut will help. I gave her the asymetrical victoria beckham cut. We gave her lighter, dimensional color as well. Lighter colors make the hair appear thicker. Everyday she uses Paul Mitchell "Thicken Up" and "Root Boost."
