Well I'd say the only way to do that would be to straighten your hair.

Try using a GHD (=Good Hair Day) straightener as that can really flatten your hair and it will appear thinner and if you've got thick hair, which it sounds like it does, when you straighten it, it will look incredible.

that is an odd question! why on earth would you want to do this? there is no healthy way of doing this... i suggest you go to a good hair dresser for a hair cut if you must make it thinner. otherwise the thicker your hair the better! lots of people would give anything for thick hair... specially the oldies lol

the best thing to do is get some good layers in. you dont actually have to shorten the LENGTH of your hair. just get a stylist to put in some subtle layers. that's what i did because i had MASSIVELY thick hair. it works out great.
