my hair is usually flat. and its really thin and i think it needs more volume. so please help me!

Use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Almost all shampoo brands have their own (Suave, Pantene, Dova, Sunsilk, John Frieda, etc).

After you get out of the shower, apply volumizing mousse or volumizing spray onto your roots (again, any brand has it), and blow dry your hair upside down. Of course, your hair may look really wild when you flip it back over, but you can tame it with a curling/straightening iron.

When you're styling it and it's still flat, you can use a fine-tooth comb to backcomb/tease at the roots a little. Be careful because a lot of this can damage your hair.

Finish with hair spray that's lightweight (and if you need to refresh during the day, you can spray hairspray onto the roots, hold your head upside down for a minute, then flip it back over).

A great product to try is zinc. It helps grow your hair. You need at least 8 miligrams a day though.

I'm not sure if this is something you might consider, because you don't really say anything about having dry or unhealthy hair in addition to it being thin, but coloring hair often makes it easier to style. Achieving volume in colored hair is easier because the hair shaft has been opened by the chemical process.

I have really fine and limp hair, and I find that highlighting and/or coloring my hair makes the job of styling it much easier.

Well what i wold do is add a shitload of layers it will bounce that hair right up i do it quite a bit. But you also need to use a volumizing shampoo and product and dry your hair upside down. good luck
