Is there anything I can do for my thin hair?

I have crazy-thin hair. It's not necessarily a problem until it starts growing out. I adore long hair, but once mine gets near my shoulders it just gets all stringy and I get lots of split ends. I'm not even concerned about the split ends, but if I had thicker hair you wouldn't notice how stringy my hair is. I've tried volumizer products but nothing seems to work. I really don't like the idea of extensions either.

moisture is necessary for all hair types, perhaps especially for yours. Keep your hair trimmed (every 6 - 8 weeks) to avoid split ends. Use a light leave in conditioner (infusium 23 is fab), and perhaps a thickening shampoo, you can find them just about everywhere. Back combing will only create more split ends. Extensions can create the fals image of thicker hair, but it means more upkeep. Rogain is a possibility, keep in mind you'd have to continue using it. Consult your stylist, there are always new products coming out, he/she may know of something new to help you.

for fine hair i would not recommend extensions b/c it can break your hair off (if you say your hair is that fine), second i wouldn't recommend the back combing all the time either b/c it can break your hair as well... i would recommend layers (not to much though b/c it could make it look even thinner) but you need to cut some weight off so you can get some height in on top to give you model look alike hair...
