Shampoo/cond. for combo, fine/thin hair...?

I am looking for a quality shampoo and conditoner for oily roots, dry ends, fine/thin hair. I want to normalize my hair while still trying to thicken/strengthen it?Maybe even make it longer somewhat? Is there such a product?

For oily roots- Use a lot of shampoo on the top of your head and not so much condtioner, or none at all at the top.

Dry ends- Use a lot of condtioner on the bottom of your hair, and let it soak in the shower.

Fine/thin hair- Use a volumizing shampoo/condtioner [Herbal Essences has a good one, or Paul Mitchell, Biolage, RedKen, or one of those.]

To thicken/strengthen it- Use Paul Mitchell strenghth shampoo/conditioner and then for a serum use RedKen Anti-Snap. Expensive but good.

Good luck! :]]

I have really thin blond hair. I love to use Matrix Amplify products. They have a whole line of shampoo, conditioner, hairsprays, root pumps that work really great. Check out salons in your area, or try the knockoffs at a beauty supply store.

in a perfect world all those things would be bottled up in to one product but the dove collection have many wonderful quality shampoo and conditioner that will help you with your hair.

Do not buy cheap stuff from walmart, pantene is made up of mostly wax and creates a build up around your scalp, as do most cheap shampoos and conditioners. Find yourself a good moisturizing shampoo, chances are that your scalp has build up from less than perfect shampoo TIGI makes a oatmeal honey shampoo that is great and on the less expensive side. As far as products for styling, I would try a light weight gel, the size of a dime before drying it with a blow dryer and a round brush, this will smooth the hair and give it some volume. As for thickening, Nioxin makes a thickening shampoo that promotes growth of new hair and helps to strengthen old hair, expensive but worth it. You can also take pre-natal vitamins for healthier, stronger hair and nails and it will also grow faster...don't worry you can take pre-natal vitamins even if your not pregnant. Good Luck hun!
