I'd recommend running some wax through it to style it a bit and add a bit of grease (although not too much!! greasy prom hair, nuh uh).

And, depending on how you're having your hair, it might be worth running the striaghteners through it to calm stray hairs into place. =) Good luck!! And enjoy it no matter what!!

use garnier leave in

dont use too much cuz itll way ur hair down! since ur hair is thin

DONT use mousse or gel, its to heavy for thin hair,

hair u style it use hairspray

If you use any hair balm make sure it is light weight. Also the natural oils in your hands will calm it down, rub hands through your hair repeatedly and it will help without weighing your hair down.

Try straightening ur hair... or putting it up in a pretty, but sloppy bun. GO out to Walmart, or something, and buy some small crystals for ur hair...they just stick right on ur hair, but look really cool.

Hair gel. Yes, the cheap LA kind. Water it down a bit, and lightly dab at the ends of your hair where you want it calmed down. Don't fret.

If it's thin use a mousse! You'll have volume in no time! Then curl it/straighten it and then use a very small amount of serum afterwards to get rid of frizz.

I think that you should concentrate on a style that shows off your hair and is pretty but gives the look of volume and calm hair.

The two I think would be great are the French Twist (1) Or Half French Twist (The 2nd pic in the first row and the second pic in the 3rd row are the halfs) and a nice curly bun (2)

Poofy hair can be treated very easily - rub moisturizer in your hand (not too much - it should not be visible in your hands) and then run your hands through your hair. then brush your hair to see the difference. You can do this twice depending on how poofy your hair is.
