i've tried volumizing products and they just don't work. volumizing shampoo makes it stick and crunch together. hairspray is just disastrous (probably because i am not very good with it). i've tried blow drying upside down and it just turns out extremely poofy. It makes me look like Hagrid from Harry potter for about 10 minutes and then it flattens again.

I actually want my individual strands to be thicker but i dont know if thats possible. Any suggestions?

If it's really thin, try using extensions. Also, using rollers will give you volume. %26amp; if you use hairspray...spray it sparingly. Too much product will weigh your hair down.

Nope sorry, it just won't happen if you don't have it naturally. Hair thickness and amount is genetic, you can't change it any more than you can change the color of your eyes. You can however get extensions, many girls of all races are getting them to help get the fullness they want. ( Think Jessica Simpson, she has her own line) You don't have to get crazy Beyonce' type of hair but you can get what you want. It is expensive though, but beauty is pain and money after all.

I don't know if it will work for you, but it has for me. Get some Aloe Vera shampoo and conditioner and some Aloe Vera lotion, yep the kind you use for sunburns. After Washing and conditoning your hair, just rub the lotion into your scalp. I know it sound crazy, but it works and it does not make your hair greasy looking or greasy feeling. Try it see if it helps you.
